ST Johnstone have appointed Paul Gallacher as their new head of goalkeeping. Gallacher joins the Scottish Championship leaders after leaving his role at Hearts.
What happened?
Gallacher replaces Gordon Marshall, who recently left to take up the same role at Tynecastle. The 46-year-old spent a decade on Hearts' coaching staff and has also worked in the Scotland youth set-up.
Why it matters for ST Johnstone
"I'm absolutely delighted and thoroughly looking forward to the challenge ahead," Gallacher said. He watched ST Johnstone a couple of times last season and thought they were fantastic. Gallacher has already met some of the staff behind the scenes and feels welcome.
