ST Johnstone have confirmed Paul Gallacher as their new head of goalkeeping, replacing Gordon Marshall. Gallacher joins from Hearts, where he spent a decade on the coaching staff. The 46-year-old has also worked in the Scotland youth set-up. Gallacher said, 'I'm absolutely delighted and thoroughly looking forward to the challenge ahead.' He added, 'I watched ST Johnstone a couple of times last season. I thought they were fantastic and played some really exciting football.' Gallacher has already met some of the staff behind the scenes and feels welcome at the club. He said, 'I could quickly see that it is a family-friendly club and everyone has made me feel very welcome.'
